The Aintree Classic Run Introduction
Run the inaugural Aintree Classic 10km road race, taking place at the historic Aintree Racecourse on the 8th September 2019.
The route is composed of a start and finish in front of the famous Aintree grandstand, taking in an initial section around the Aintree Golf Course and finishing with a loop around the Grand National hosting Aintree Racecourse.
This is an open and flat course, ideal for first time 10K runners and walkers to experienced club runners looking to beat their personal best times.

The Aintree Classic 10km Run
Our fastest and flattest event in the series, ideal for beginners or experienced runners looking to beat their best time. This race will also host some of the fastest runners in the UK, including GB athlete and 2018 European 5000m silver medallist Eilish McColgan.
The Aintree Classic 5km run
The Aintree 5km event is perfect for the beginner runner. Experience the complete atmosphere unique to the Classic Series over the 3.1mile paved loop course. Finish the race in front of the historic grandstand, just as the 10km race and earn your silverware.
All children under 11 years old on race day must be accompanied by a competing adult
The Aintree Classic Junior Run
Classic Series events are not just for adults, we want to inspire the next generation of athletes too. Our junior races seek to give younger athletes the chance to compete against each other and experience that finish line thrill with the hope of inspiring a sporting future.
Ages: 9 – 15
*All children under 11y/o on race day must be accompanied by a competing adult
