“The Classic Run Series is a fantastic opportunity to compete on the famous grounds of three classic racecourse venues. I Can’t wait to see thousands of runners racing through these iconic settings!

As with all of the Classic Series events, we aim to make the day appealing to the whole family and also to promote the ethos of getting more active, more often. It is for this reason that we will also host the “Classic Junior Run” and the “Classic Family mile”. There will be something for all of the family to take part in on October 6th so why not make a day of it, cheer on the kids in the junior events before taking on the challenge of the Ayr Classic 5 Mile.

The Route

The Ayr Classic 5 Mile route will start and finish under the iconic Ayr grandstand, and will take in two laps of the inner road of the racecourse track. The Ayr Classic 5 Mile Run will be an extremely flat and fast route!

The Ayr Classic Junior Run will be a 3km race for runners aged between 9-15.
